Some stories begin with a gift. Rejane's began in São Paulo, Brazil, when her father Afonso — a man who recognized talent before it had a name — placed a sewing machine in her hands. She was just a girl then, stitching dresses for her dolls. What her father saw in those small, careful hands would take decades to fully bloom — but it never stopped growing.

For over 20 years, Rejane dedicated herself to the craft. Singer certifications, specialized courses, endless hours of practice — not out of obligation, but out of pure love for what fabric, thread, and precision can do to transform how a person feels in their own skin.

In 2017, she made the leap. From São Paulo to Florida, carrying her dream of opening a true atelier — one built for a community surrounded by beautiful events, elegant occasions, and people who deserve to feel extraordinary. The name she chose was no accident: Pear Tree — a quiet, graceful translation of Pereira, her family name, her roots, her identity carried into a new chapter.

Today, Rejane works with brides, graduates, professionals, and anyone who has ever loved a garment too much to let it not fit perfectly. Her specialty — and her greatest joy — is bridal alterations. There is something she calls revitalizing about a wedding dress: taking a piece that already holds so much emotion and making it fit its wearer as if it were made for her alone. That moment — when a bride looks in the mirror and exhales — is why Rejane does what she does.

She will also tell you something important: the price tag on a garment is not its value. A dress made by a machine on an assembly line was made for no one in particular. What Rejane does is different. She takes that garment and makes it yours — fitted to your body, your posture, your moment. That is not a service. That is an art form.

Mother of three, grandmother of five (including Gandalf, the cat, who supervises from a safe distance), Rejane brings the same care she gives her family to every client who walks through her door.
